Builds Flexibility

Boosts Immunity

Yoga is a stress reliever, and stress can reduce your immunity. When stressed, your immune system goes into overdrive to help fight the stressor. If this happens too often, it can reduce your body’s ability to fight common colds and flu viruses. So yoga helps relieve stress by teaching you how to relax and breathe deeply during poses that will calm the nervous system (and thus boost immune function).

Reduces Aches and Pains

Yoga can help with back pain, headaches, and neck pain. It’s also great for joint pain like arthritis or carpal tunnel syndrome. If you suffer from lower back pain (a common ailment), yoga is a good way to manage it.

Yoga can help with fibromyalgia and other similar ailments as well.
